Commissioner Alan Ulmer, Jr.  was awarded the 45 Years of Service pin as commissioner by SC DNR  Conservation District Coordinator,  Jennifer Morris at the March 2025 BSWCD board meeting.

Outstanding Employee of the Year

Debra Way, Education Specialist, has been selected by the SC Association of Conservation Districts (SCACD)  as the Outstanding Employee of the Year for 2023. She was nominated by the BSWCD Board of Commissioners and staff for her loyalty, devotion, and dutifulness. Ms. Way has been working as our part-time educator for 17 years.
